Description

Propecia belongs to a group of medicines called 5 α-reductase inhibitors.

They work by reducing the size of the prostate gland in men.

Propecia reduces the prostate gland in men when it is enlarged. Propecia is used to treat and control benign (non-cancerous) enlargement of the prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia – BPH). The prostate gland is located under the bladder (but only exists in men). It produces secretion, which is an integral part of semen (semen). An enlarged prostate gland can lead to a condition called “benign prostatic hyperplasia” (BPH). Finasteride causes a decrease in enlarged prostate, improves urinary flow and symptoms caused by BPH, and reduces the risk of sudden inability to urinate (known as acute urinary retention) and the need for surgery.

What is BPH?

If you have BPH, this means that your prostate is enlarged. It can squeeze the channel through which the urine passes, on its way out of your body.

This can lead to problems such as:

Feeling that you need to urinate more often, especially at night;

Feeling you need to urinate right away;

Difficult urination;

When you urinate, the flow of urine is low;

When you urinate, the flow of urine interrupts;

Feeling that you can’t completely empty your bladder.

For some men, BPH can lead to more serious problems, such as:

Urinary tract infections;

Sudden inability to urinate;

Need for surgery.
